In April 2012 Delta Care won a contract with Sefton council to provide domiciliary care to people living in Southport. We have grown from strength to strength and have a local office in Tulketh Street.

Domiciliary care, sometimes known as home care, covers a number of different services available to you in your home and is provided so that you can remain as independent as possible. You may need help for a short time to help you manage, or sometimes on a longer-term basis

The services can range from 1 to 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Each service user has the right to a care service that does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnic origin, colour or creed, religion, political affiliation, disability or impairment, martial status, gender or sexual orientation. Service user will be consulted with the respect to the service provided and will be involved in the ongoing review of the service.

We are contracted providers for Lancashire County Council Social Service and Sefton Social Services and are inspected and monitored by them and the Care quality commission. All staff have an enhanced CRB and two professional references are followed up. All staff are trained to the required standard.

Our quality policy

Delta Care Ltd local office is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent body that regulates care provided in England. We are a preferred provider for Lancashire County Council Social Services and hold ISSO 9001 accreditation.

The CQC carries out regular and rigorous inspections of care providers and the outcomes of its inspections are shaped by priorities that include:

  • making sure that their care protects people’s rights
  • acting swiftly to eliminate poor quality care
  • promoting high quality care.
